Very nice, I have been using these sus chords for years. I just didn't know the mechanics of when and where to use them. Thanks, and yes I am a subscriber.

I would like a lesson on how to properly use them. Your videos are awesome! thanks!

Thank you, Eric. This explained to me perfectly what Eddie was doing in older Van Halen riffs when he would use his pinky to play the next note up on the B string on bar chords rooted on the A string. Unless I'm totally misunderstanding what you're saying here, which is totally possible (music theory neophyte)... Great video either way - thanks again!

"music is about tension & release". my girlfriend & i can attest to that. we make great music together, especially at night. i just wish our neighbors weren't so tense. :(

Should I just wait for my fingers to feel better or are there any tricks so I can play sooner.

can you add chord extensions to a suspended chord?

Great lesson. I just wanted to clarify one thing: if I make an A major shape while playing my 6th string barre chords, will that always be a suspended chord?
