The ancient shield takes guardian shots easily and reflects them, more so than any shield other than the Hylian Shield. The one that takes only a few shots would probably be the Guardian Shield ++

The Ancient Shield has a passive ability that's not explained anywhere that allows you to shield surf a lot better. It basically slides better on the floor, kind of as if the floor was wet from rain

I really like the guardian shield ++. It's honestly a pretty solid shield but I mostly used it for shield surfing. I mean come on it looks identical to a snowboard.

the ancient shield is btw the best shield for shield surfing. The fraction multiplier is 0.2 (so this is the fastest shield and it takes the least amount of damage.) It also has a pretty solid durability stat of 70. And BTW the hylian shield has 8x the durability of the second most durable shield.

use durability transfer to put the hylian shield's durability on the ancient shield and boom, best shield, it's even good at shield surfing

Ancient shield is good for guardians, and is like guardian insurance for people who suck at parrying. And it can tank more than the average shield.

Savage lynel shield is good because it has decent durability and it can damage enemies when parrying.

Personally, I think that the Julian shield is best due to its insane durability making it possible to tank hundreds of guardian shots before it breaks, although its lack of easy renewability knocks it down a little.

However, the only shield to beat the aforementioned shields is the boko shield
