I went in April 2-14 2019, I was able to hit Sakura season right on in Tokyo and Kyoto. Now I'm planning to go Japan in Oct 2-19 2023. Using Osaka as my base for Kobe, Nara, and Kyoto. I plan a day trip to my father ancestral city of Okayama. Last trip I was able to go to mother ancestral town of Hiroshima. PS I was able by accident able to hit a Fall Festival in Takayama.10/09-10/10.

^HOw was the weather in June? I know it's rainy season, but that's the only month i can travel with my family lol. Although i don't want to risk it raining every day. Is it warm at least in June? Not to hot or cold? I didn't realize how tricky the weather is in Japan when thinking of when to travel. I think probably early October would be the best, but most people have more time in the summer to travel.

Hi!! I need some advice. I want to visit Japan this year, but the only dates that I have available are late september 'till early october, or early november. Wich one would be better? I really hate rain, but I don't want to have to pack heavy clothes (like sweaters or jackets)
