The giant water bug is actually really cool if you do your research on them. They apparently can play dead near something they fear, the bumps on its back in that photo were eggs, and the bite is painful but it won’t hurt you that bad.

I've been bitten by giant water bugs quite a few times and have never ended up with holes in my skin other than the puncture from its bite. They are pretty painful tho.

I came here to tell you that that is the most click baity thumbnail I’ve ever seen in my entire life. That would win an award if youtube gave them out. This channel has a decent following but I’m positive that it’s probably half the size it should be based on the selection of thumbnails you choose for your videos. Nothing screams "don’t ever come to watch anything on this sellout channel ever again". Never understood why channels use thumbnails like that as if it’s going to make people say to themselves owe i can’t wait to watch more of this channel that says one thing but shows another.

I actually was chased by a swarm of a killer bees once. Those suckers followed me for like 100m until I found a water hose opened it at full pressure and after 5 minutes of spraying they left and whoever was left I personally made sure I crushed. Those suckers hurt A LOT. Personally I was more pissed off because it didn't do anything to them so the next day I bought myself some petrol wrapped some cloth around the stick covered myself up with three coats two pants sunglasses and a buff lit about three torches two to keep near me so the smoke would keep them away and one just snuff them out since they were near my house. Then I just put whatever was left of the Petrol in the hive directly and burn them alive. I don't regret saying that I enjoyed it.

The symptoms of Irukandji venom can be very unusual. I knew an old couple who were envenomed during a holiday in 1990. I remember both of them saying that their perception of heat became inverted:
• Drinking ice water felt like swallowing boiling water.
• Drinking hot tea or coffee was like drinking iced tea or coffee.
• A cold shower felt like boiling water.
• A hot shower felt like freezing water.
One danger is that you might not feel how injurious the water temperature is to your body, e.g. water hot enough to burn and blister feels cold.

I was vacationing in the Bahamas and saw a beautiful shell in shallow water. I started to pick it up then noticed that it was a cone snail like I had seen on a nature video. I took a photo instead. This goes to show the value of nature programs and warnings concerning venomous creatures.
