Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has said that only couples in the state, with at least three children, would be eligible to contest municipal and local body elections. The chief minister's statement comes just months after Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin also called on couples in Tamil Nadu to have more children, and match population statistics in North India.
