For the tie off, how come everyone uses rope and not something like steel or something a saw can’t cut through, is it a matter of rope grips the tree better or….honest question I just always look at these videos and think man it wouldn’t take much for that saw to chew through that by accident

How do you decend from the tree, if you have an accident? I Dont think its great, to have to untie your rope bundle, with one hand. God forbid. Stay safe
