I went into a full textile deep dive on wikipedia a decade or two ago when I got a shirt made with 70% Tencel and neither my dad or I knew what it was. Nice to know the process isn't as toxic as bamboo fibers.

I have had two pairs of all birds and they are very comfy but also don't last very long, which is a shame. Also, they are INSANELY slippery

Too bad Allbirds is rated "It's a start" (which is a poor rating for ethics and environmental aspects) on Good On You. I'm pretty disappointed in the brand and had planned on buying from them. Not anymore. :/

I love how the latest "environmental" craze is cutting trees down to make stuff. Most kids today won't know that during the 90's, the "environmental" cause was to stop cutting down trees. Wonder why the same environmental cause flops back and forth from don't do something to its okay to do something, Maybe cause they're not really concerned with the environment.
