How to turn off demo mode on your Pioneer DEH radio

1 turn OFF radio
2 HOLD down volume button
(No matter wats on the screen wen u turn it off)aka step1
3 "INITIAL" setting should
open
4 scroll to "demo" or "demonstration"
5 turn to off

Thank you guys you are Lifesavers sometimes we have to do work on the car and unhook the battery and it always resets the stereo back to demo mode so thank you and I always forget how to take it off demo mode even though it's happened like 10 times lol

hello, we just got a 2001 Mercedes Benz E320 and it looks like I cannot get the radio to turn on. Its a one din radio, with a knob. I did try what you say and no light sound or anything. I look to find the fuse but no luck. How to remove it to troubleshoot? Is it possible to remove and install a double din model to have more display for GPS, etc... I am in 94579 country and do not know where to find a rep

it says "Press and hold DISP key to turn off demo mode" If you have this, the press and hold the back arrow button.

I just bought a DEH-150-MP it's installed in my 1975 Pontiac no amplifier rule blue wire out. It power's up with a low sound. I turn the single knob and nothing still at the same low volume. Any help here. Thank you

Hello, I have a Pioneer DMH-1770NEX and have discovered that if you have the radio on or off, when the car ignition is shut off and you start the car, the radio comes on. I find this to be a nuisance and was told by the factory tech that all Pioneer radios are configured this way. I would think if you had the radio off, it should stay off when you restart the car. Are there any work arounds you are aware of???
