Everytime I saw cards like this and the prices we’ve reached, I feel like I was born 10 years to late. We’ll never see kids playing trading cards as we did in the early 2000s. This whole Generation was shaped by this card game, it was imo a truly once in a century phenomena. I remember one day when I was like 7 I went to a local Toysrus and hundred of childrens were waiting in front of the store to buy yugioh cards.

So out of curiosity, were you more of a collector back in the Duel Monsters and GX days of Yu-Gi-Oh? Since you said you pulled some of the cards and had them graded yourself I'm guessing you didn't play them because otherwise even with sleeves the cards would have experienced some wear? At least enough to where they wouldn't of been able to get PSA 10 anyways.

I'm mad I sold my 2002 tin Dark Magician (won it in a duel at the mall during pandemic) and crush card virus but recently i purchased it for 22 bucks at my local card store (Crush card that is).
