There is no need in full upgrade
"Sneak attack" has a hidden mechanic:
1 lvl - 3% instakill chance
2 lvl - 4% instakill chance
3 lvl - 5% instakill chance

I remember passing that level with only assasins and mirage, I take down the final boss with the reinforcements, rain of fire and the hero to focus on him, since I was sure that my assasins can defend the rest by themselves.

Ah yes, the “tank” that doesn’t need HP or armor or heals. Can’t be oneshot by baddies if you can constantly dodge and get lucky insta kills!

Its kind of luck dependent, sadly. Once I witnessed an assassin tower stall a bloodshell for 1-1 and a half minutes, without them killing it. It was very dissapointing XD

I remember someone solo this stage 3 star with literally only 2 assassin barrack and bonehart lol, which is possible since i also try to do it too and almost make it to wave 14/15 but get 2 star so yeah with enough luck it possible lol

of all Kingdom Rush, Frontier is my favorite because they gave us Templars and Asassins, which maybe is reference from the Assassin Creed, good to see them fighting together for once

You got all wrong, Assassins have instakill as soon as you buy the sneak attacks, and every attack, even the counterattacks can become sneak attacks which can instakill. Every point in the skill will automatically improve its chance on every attack and counterattack, they don't need to be fully upgraded, less have the pickpocket ability.

From what I heard the blood shells have 95% armor and are immune to artillery attacks by artillery attacks it means anything in the load out that deals damage but they can still be hurt or affected by the battle mecha slow down or the furnace blast but they won’t try to use those abilities against them.
A good way to kill bloodshells is True damage or hero insta kills or another good choice is to bring Dante he has silver bullet for high single target true damage and relic of power to completely destroy the armor rating of the Bloodshell
