Good to see someone (else) using a Heim / Rose joint / Tie rod end - I've never used anything else for connecting trailers. Inexpensive and versatile - even better if they're free - as in my case, from a scrap yard.
I also don't have a welder, so constructed with fasteners and basic tools.

Larger wheels vs smaller wheels: Larger wheels are harder to get going, but once you do, it requires less energy to keep them going. Smaller wheels are easier to get going, but the rider will become more fatigued to keep them going. Idea: Match the size of your trailer's wheels with your bike's wheels, that way if/when you get a flat, you're not carrying 2 different sets of tubes ...unless you're going tubeless ;)

Well done! I have to admit that despite the title saying "no weld", looking at most of this video made me think "There's no way I could build that", as I don't have any metal working equipment or skills. Kudos though!

At least you went with a 20" wheel instead of 16" like the Bob has and for that matter most have. Interesting use of rivets as they do a wonderful job of holding things together.

I made one from broken carbon fibre hockey sticks that I found in the trash out back of an ice rink it’s really light

Have u considered using wheelchair wheels?I have thought about using pvc pipes to create an arch so it could be covered if needed.i seen people use pvc pipes to make cheap greenhouses by driving rebar into the ground and then putting the pipe over the rebar and bending it to an arch and putting the other end over the rebar studs and it was pretty strong considering how big it was I would find some way to mount something to act as a stud on both sides in similar fashion to a covered wagon for durability I considered truck bed liner sprey

The lack of welding makes it safer and cheaper for someone like me. Also, I'm wondering if they can be attached to one of the holes where I used to have the fenders for my rear trike tires, as that's the only type of pedal bike I can ride due to balance issues.

Hah, no weld. Let's kick things off with a rivet gun instead.

Excellent video Diecaster D, How do you find the wheel being attached on only one side. is it strong enough?

Dude. So. I was thinking about this. How do you make sure the axle will support just one side? Is it thixk enough?

drilling hols in tubing is difficult to do without a drill press i think. Any ideas on other easy ways to do it?

Son of a gun, don’t have a milling machine. Is that how you cut pieces to rivet as well? Also have no idea what is a Heim joint and how did you magically attach nut? Didn’t understand ring adjust. Now where I live the local maniac cut steel and weld it on the sidewalks daily so I could take the design to them and they would knock me out something in a day. Plus would need hitch assembly ordered plus some bike wheels. Did not understand the axel thing but seriously could find a cart builder like in an hour.

Is this axle strong enough not to bend in such application under load. I'm building a bike trailer and doubt of that point. What load can it hold if fixed from 1 side only?
