I can see your point, and probably I will agree with it, but I will still try this game, I like the look of it so much (and I love Escher).

I watch this video because I just finish the game and I search some information on the story, nice review but I'm convinced that there is a deep lore behind! Especially with the mirror level, it's cryptic and I love that but I want to know!

first time a free game actually looks fun from epic

There was a game on the wii back in the day that worked the same way and had an artsy scratcy look. Maybe they were inspired. It is called And Yet It Moves. I liked that game cause it added a physics aspect and a interesting sound track. You use the wii remote phyisics. So i wouldnt say this game is out of no where original but it is original. It has that indie look that screams passion project or cool idea i came up with and people will tell you to play it but yeah i can see how it's not exactly fun. Alot of the "fun" indie games people label better than AAA are basically focused gameplay and still AAA just without all the bells and whistles if you catch my drift. Like a game that is boss rush where the time to make the ai and fight animation is focused on while a big studio would take the same time and have around the same amount of staff on that subject than a bunch on other stuff. Like how people claim 100 mil movies look like 200 mil and its cause your basically getting the same stuff...just that the 200 mil is paying for big actors and skipping the process of sets and using expensiver ideas for the similar end result. IMO of course.

I played this when it was free in 2020 and enjoyed it but didn't beat it. I should give it another go.
