Fantastic! “In order to avoid being wrong, we end up staying wrong.” 👏

I lost someone to cancer. I did my own research not to challenge professional opinions, but to ask better questions and give better information. It didn't change the outcome but made a big difference in the quality of life the last few months.

Brilliant! this reminds me of the proverb " Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime" - 20 minutes of gold standard teaching, Many Thanks.

Definitely do a part two. Maybe a part where you do a practical topic research and interpret the data. This was very good indeed. 🙏🏾

This is valuable information, and should be required viewing for everyone, especially in this era of such disinformation.

Dr. C should consider a full-fledged course on reading and thinking critically. He has a gift for expressing complex ideas in Plain-English, and an engaging manner that gives us a sense of agency over our health destinies.

Being an informed person doctors tell me all the time that I "read too much" or that "there are things that a non-doctor cannot understand" this is upsetting because I probably spend more time on Google scholar than they do and I'm starting to feel discouraged by this attitude. Luckily someone from the medical field speaking words of encouragement. I'd love to see a video on the physiological and sociological aspect of the relationship between doctors and patients. I think you are the "missing link" and the right person to do this.

Amazing video as always! Please make part two! I am glad your mom is doing better. I am sure the research you found helped her, but what really mattered is your commitment and devotion. I will recommend this channel whenever I can. Best on YouTube🙂

Maybe I haven't seen enough of your content, I thought I'd seen a lot, but this is my favorite so far. It should have more views than your subscriptions. Great work, incredible and beautiful story. Thank you for being so kick ass cool.

Wonderful video. This should be taught in high school science class. I'd love a followup video about judging the quality of a clinical trial (e.g. sample size, methodology, blindedness, etc.). Thank you!
