Nice way to ruin a ratchet, at least use a breaker bar if your going to do it

I have been screwing around with mine for a week.  I finally decided to jump up and down on the 4 foot pipe and 3/4 drive and it finally broke free.

I once broke several breaker bars trying to loosen a front wheel nut without an impact wrench. I got a little crazy and drilled holes in the nut on one side. After that that darn thing had not choice but to let go. Kind of dangerous to the old axel if you aren't careful you will ruin the threads.

Don't do it. That is a sideways force, not rotational....you're bending the tool (destroying it), and could bend the driveshaft. You can do the same with an extension pipe, and apply proper rotational force. Ideally, use an impact gun.
