This is my build-up of Bandai's T-70 X-Wing Vehicle Model from Star Wars, Episode 7: The Force Awakens. There were a few complications with this build, but I got there in the end.

I know im not the only one, but I'm really fond of the new x-wing. It really feels like a natural evolution of the x-wing with the engines and is a throwback to its original concept design. One of the few Disney era star wars ships I like a lot.

Very nicely done! Despite my massive backlog of kits, I really want to add this to list and as seen in the McQuarrie painting.

Great idea painting it in the concept art paint scheme your detail work is awesome. Nice work.

wow, I thought the model was around 6 times its actual size... Your detail work really sells it.

Well, at least it's the right color!
It's a good paint job and works for the design even if I'm not thrilled with the T-70 or anything from the Sequels.
I still don't care for the vehicle designs in the Sequel Trilogy.
They're basically the cast-offs and rejected designs McQuarrie turned into LucasFilm 43-45 years ago.
It's amazing how cheesy and cheap Hollywood studios get on the art end of things but vehicle designs are the least of the problems they have with the Sequels...
They don't inspire people and most of the fans want to buy classic Star Wars product!

One of the other YouTubers on the model channels lives in Japan (has a wife and kid; he's an American national, wife's Japanese) and he attends model conventions and expos.
Bandai's really concentrated on producing more CLASSIC Star Wars model kits. That much was VERY obvious to me from the video footage he uploaded. There's a big B-wing coming out and they're going to releasing an Empire Strikes Back Millennium Falcon in 1/72 scale soon.
Who knows, maybe they'll finally release a decent-sized Bandai Star Destroyer... I frankly think they should do the Imperial I AND II ships as well as the Super Destroyer Executor.
I don't think you're going to see much more product based on the Sequels because they're just not that popular.
