From the East Coast out to the West Coast, Paper and Moose has ventured to the Petaluma Fall Antique Fair. On the hunt for ephemera, can we find any vintage goodness to bring back to good ol' New Jersey?

This reminds me so much of events of this kind in Baltimore. Farmers markets, craft fairs, etc., there are always folks with their dogs. Lots of convivial conversations. I LOVE it.

Love your program - enjoy it very much! FYI -- In the 60's I earned $.35-$.50 per hour for babysitting -- a Christmas tree for about $10 is not necessarily inexpensive way back then.Keep having fun!

Petaluma is one of the more pricey areas of California! Great for sightseeing and restaurants! Miss the giant redwoods! Breathtaking beauty!!

The moose head is perfect! Love the wallet!! Those cards & the CA. map are wonderful! We had two different silver trees growing up ~ the second one had the pom poms. We had the four color color wheel. Wish I still had either tree & the color wheel!! My daughter has a vintage white tree that I Love. Funny how the prices go. I live in Michigan ~ went to Tennessee to help a friend move. While we were there we went to some of the thrift stores & the prices were way higher than here. When I visited a friend in northern VA. we found some great places with great prices. You never know. Doesn't really sound like you overpaid for where you were. And who cares! Those were great finds. And so what if you in California, do as the Californians do! The moose lodge wallet was the best...perfect for your use at flea markets.

Everything in California is expensive!!! That's why people are moving! We can't put trash out on the street the way you can in PA. Only once a month and then it's old NO one wants it! Glad you found a little Moose! Thank You Renee, Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.

I had a neighbor with one of those silver trees in the 60s and I believe they had a spotlight that rotated a color wheel that changed the silver tree to blue, red, green, etc. Crazy times!

Having lived in California my whole life, and knowing Petaluma, I knew you’d be shocked at the prices. I never got used to the prices. Lol. Thankfully my husband and I started furniture and collecting way back when prices were still good.. Petaluma is a cute town..
