Plo was so wise, and in my opinion was the most skilled Jedi duelist, he defeated Yoda in a sparring session once, being the only Jedi to ever do so.

I love Plo Koon so much. He’s the best, and he’s both a sage and a great warrior. I like to think that he’s sort of that cool uncle to the entire Jedi Order. Yoda is the grandpa but Plo is the awesome cool one that people also go to for help and wisdom.

Everyone calls him by his first name (I know it’s probably more because they wanted to avoid saying “Koon” by itself lmao) and he gives advice to everyone. He’s close with many Jedi, he has a niece whose a Jedi Knight, he found Ahsoka and is like a dad to her while Anakin is like the big brother, he trained Bultar Swan after Micah Giiett died, etc. He’s so cool!

You can see the dichotomy between Plo Koon and the rest of the Jedi Order when advising Anakin. In the Second Battle of Geonosis, when faced with a similar predicament regarding Ahsoka, Luminara told Anakin that he should be ready to let go of his Padawan when the time comes. But here, Plo Koon reassures Anakin to trust in Ashoka’s abilities that he has imparted to her. Just goes to show that Plo Koon is one of the wisest and empathetic Jedi who is capable of caring for others unlike the rest of the order who do not want to form attachments

Recently started watching this series, and it's interesting to see how protective of Ahsoka he is. There are times where he is shown to be a genuinely good mentor to Ahsoka, but all to often he slips into a protective parent mode. Plo gave Anakin some good advice.
