This video discusses the Mean Value Theorem as well as the Definition of the Average Value of a Function. A Visual Representation is used to help explain both the MVT and the Average Value. Then one example is worked out showing how to find the average value of a function and then how to find the values of "c" which are guaranteed by the theorem.

The value c = -2 don't lie in the given interval [2, 4], so only the value c = 8/3 is a valid c-value.
