My brother saw the back of A New Dawn and noted the Alliance symbol.

Brother: What is that?
Me: The Rebellion symbol. They’re completely retconning it’s origin. The events in the Force Unleashed apparently never happened.
Brother: Then how was it formed?
Me: By a bunch of teenagers.
Brother: You’ve got to be fucking kidding me. *sighs and walks off*

WOW!!! Since the first trailer they have really improved the detail in the CGI! Plus the empire looks threatening, the action looks superb, the characters seem less light hearted than they were in the early material. It seems under the layer of humour and fun it has some seriousness and gravitas. Excellent. That officer smiling at the burning home is sadistic and certainly adds a level of gravitas in itself!

Okay, we saw the Empire destroy civilian homes in this trailer. Do the haters believe the Empire is evil now or are they gonna keep saying bullshit like "Waaah, the Empire iz good, naht evil"?

It's painful how every time someone gets blown up all it does is push them away. Even in clone wars ( including season 1) people actually got blow up.

Hey, humans. Did I ever tell you about that time on Ord Mantell where I got drunk, flirted with a Karkarodon, got kissed mouth to face, had my face temporarily torn off and bit his tongue off while my face was in his mouth? Fun times.

Seriously, I don't recommend kissing a Karkarodon mouth-to-mouth if you can't regenerate lost tissue.

I really hope this is good.
Not that I think it will be bad or anything...
I mean, the people they have working on this thing are all veteran writers and artists from other acclaimed series, so one could would hope that it's at least well-presented.

This takes place five years before Episode IV, where Kanan, Ezra, and these guys are early members of the Rebellion. But by the time of Episode IV, there are no Jedi in the Alliance until Luke comes around. Make of that what you will...
