3755 TV Stand/Base Installation Instructions

Step 1:
• Fit plastic base cap into top (clear) side of glass base.
• Insert bottom of metal stand post into plastic base cap.
• Holding metal base plate flush to bottom (black) side of glass base, insert base bolts through bottom of metal base plate, glass base, plastic base cap, and into bottom of metal stand post. Turn base bolts clockwise with Allen key until hand-tight.

Step 2:
• Hold back (flat) side of TV plate flush against the front of metal stand post and in-line with the top 4 screw holes on stand post.
• Insert bolts through front of TV plate and stand post until bolt head is flush with TV plate.
• On back side of stand post, attach washer plate, washers and cap nuts to bolts. Tighten cap bolts until hand-tight.
*Do not over tighten, as this can damage the shape and integrity of the stand post.

Step 3:
• Using Phillips screwdriver (not included), attach TV brackets to your TV using appropriate TV bracket screws and spacers (if necessary), so that pre-installed fastening screws (on TV brackets) are at bottom.

Step 4:
• Attach TV brackets to front of stand post by resting the hooks of TV brackets on the top of TV plate (F).
• Center TV on TV plate and turn pre-installed fastening screws clockwise with Phillips
screwdriver (not included) until screws are behind the front lip of TV plate and TV
brackets are locked.

• *Should you wish to lower your TV on the stand post, simply release TV and TV brackets from TV plate, adjust TV plate height on stand post, and reinstall TV brackets to TV plate.

Really neat. I hate current HDTVs that have little corner stands that are far apart, instead of a center base stand.

first video i found when looking up how to mount my tv to a universal stand. thank you lol

if you have an older, heavier tv find a base that 1. fits the size of your tv and 2. can hold the weight of your tv.

check the back of your tv for the model number/serial number and look up the manual, it's bound to be online somewhere. there you can find what your tv weighs, then buy a stand that holds more than that.

This was informative. I was puzzled with one aspect of mine and your demonstration cleared it up for me.

I hate these (I call them feet) instead of the former standard TV base or pedestal stands that were always used until recent years. And if it swivels, that's even better! My very first large flat screen TV was a LG 42" that swiveled on a pedestal stand back in 2005 when they were relatively new on the market and grossly over-priced, and when many of the technical kinks and electronic quirks hadn't been worked out yet.
Now that the technology is 100% better and pricing has improved they decided to add cheap feet to the equation. I'm soooo glad to find that those HORRIBLE FEET can be replaced with what used to be a very good standard feature (a pedestal stand) and they give you the option to get back to...a pedestal-stand!!! Thank you a million! I'll have to get my son to do it (assemble my pedestal TV stand mount). Hate those legs!

Any suggestions on how to add a stand when the tv isn't flat? The thicker section of the tv is at the base of the television.

Thanks for putting this together. It is helpful just to watch it done so one has the mental picture for when they do it.

Nice video. But my TV (Roku 40") does not seem to have enough places for the screws on the back. How can i get help to see whether it will work. No point in doing the whole base if teh last step cannot be done. and there is nowhere to call or to chat with.

How did you put the holes in the back of the TV itself? And if your using existing holes in the TV would you need plugs to fill them so you can screw the rail into them? Thanks..

sorry i didnt clarify, MyTV as well as my center speaker sit on my TV stand. and my center speaker is in the way of the bottom half of the TV. I was asking if I bought this kit would I get enough clearance so my speaker wasn't hindering my view. my speaker is 8 inches high and my TV is 55 inches. thanks for the link I'll go check it out.

life could be so much easier if they just made the damn factory stands adjustable

So, you screw the two vertical brackets on back of the TV, and then you simply rest the TV on the two horizontal brackets attached to the base? The two support screws don't actually attach the vertical brackets to the horizontal ones? My concern is, isn't that a little unsafe? What happens if someone bumps into the desk it's on. Couldn't the TV potentially fall off the stand?
