Nektar Panorama P4 and P1 at a glance

A short movie presenting the look and funkcionality of the new Panorama P4 and P1 controllers from Nektar. Both tracks are coming from Reason 7 and are made almost without touching the mouse and keyboard out of the box. Now that`s a thing which I liked very much ;) If you have any questions about these controllers feel free to write.

As a former sound engineer student at School of Audio Engineering @ Sae Paris, I'm looking towards the purchase of the latest vesion of Reason alongside the Nektar Panorama P4
Any feedback appreciated !

Plus, I'd like to know if it integrates well with the latest Cubase Version too ( lot of people are saying that Cubase 7.xx is still very bugy though )

Finally is the P4 worth the purchase if I'm planning to use Reason rewired into Cubase ?

If you have the right set up than I assume yes. Although I did't try that. But If the Korg Nanokontrol 2 worked together with any midi keyboard than this should do the trick perfectly. I'm not so good in midi programming.

How useful is the motorized fader on the P4? I don't really need a keyboard but a control surface would be nice.

Very nice clip but it doesn't show mutch of the functionality of Nektor Panorama P1.

If this controller (P4) was compatible with ableton i'd grab it today... As i am keen on bitwig and one great controller that works across daws would be awesome. Reaper too, but I know reaper is under the radar for devs.

Hi there, I got a question on the Panorama P1!

Lets say I have both P1 and "ANY" MIDI keyboard hooked up to Logic X and an instance of Alchemy on a MIDI channel.

Can I play the keys on "ANY" MIDI keyboard(m-audio, novation, nectar impact GX, etc) while tweaking knobs, faders and browsing the VST's sounds/patches?

The new T6 is closed to the price level of the P1 and you get a key bed, pads etc. Is there anything the P1 can do that the T6 doesn't?

Hi! I bought the nektar panorama p6 . I use cubase 8.5 Pro in windows 10 Why in windows 10 the motorized fader does not work when changing the track? how to configure it?

Thanks! I know there`s not much of the P1 but the functionality is the same. Except the keyboard and the one motorized fader of the P4. If you have some questions I`ll be happy to answer them ;)

I'm curious why you own both the P4 and the P1... seems rather redundant, unless you're on the go a lot and just grab the P1?
