nektar Panorama P4 / Review of pads

I've got a Panorama P4 for review of it.
In result, I think P4 has functional pads.
They are very useful.

Aye I've had my P4 for a couple weeks now and I'm not sure if you can or not because I never tried it. But if there is a command to do it from the computer keyboard then you can do it from the P4.

Hi~ There is new function which call 'Pad map' in Panorama P4. I think that it could help you to assign a drum sound to the pad what you want to even rapidly without using mouse as you wish. It works individually not by lane, but once you learn how to set them up, You will probably be happy with 'Pad map function'

Nice vid bro. Can you tell me if I can add a "Note Lane" directly from the Panorama? This is very important to me because when I am playing kong and I want to have another drum sound have its own lane...it would be great to be able to do this from the controller and not have to use the mouse.

I'm digging the P4, and using it with Reason is great although i'm embarrassed to admit I still don't know how to create a new note lane from it. Must be in the Macros support. I'm gonna have to dig deeper. lol

I am enjoying the p4. But to be honest I took back a mpk 61 that I got a sweet deal on for the p4 and I'm not convinced that I got an upgrade. You lose note repeat and the additional pads with the p4 but u do gain more control over reason. If reason isn't your primary beat making daw, then the mpk or maybe even some of the other keyboards are better.

Lol...if I worked for them I wouldn't admit that other keyboards could be better for some applications. But I love my P4. I know how to rig Reason to note repeat and I can bank up to the last 4 pad sounds so im happy.

Richie... whats up bro. I think I am going to get the P4. On the FB page the Nektar people said that you can create a new note lane from the P4. I been diggin reason a lot more lately.. total control of it would be great.

It depends on purpose of the individual.
For me, I can be satisfied with P4 even when using it with Logic.
I want to make sure that I'm not the person who work for Nektar like you :D
