KD had a point though. I think he was referring to the debate format of the last decade and a half or so that causes unnecessary drama and fake narratives that people actually start believing.
That being said, Stephen A has a soft spot for Durant clearly, generally when players call him out he starts screaming, like what happened with Kyrie when he called them "puppets."

I don't think a lot of NBA players realize how Steph A brings his own category of fans to the game. I know people who don't even watch games or highlights they just listen to Stephen A Skip Shannon or the inside the NBA guys. All that contributes to how much players get paid in today's game. It's bigger than just basketball. It's entertainment.

KD is sensitive but I agree with him. The media creates all the narratives and drama around the NBA. This is good for the NBA because it pushes the game and provides growth to make more money. However, 2 things can be true and that is the case here.
