Everyone keeps saying the Lakers didn’t change. Almost ALL of their key role players were injured last year. Gabe Vincent, Cam Reddish, Jared Vanderbilt AND Christian Wood missed majority of the season and all of playoffs.

Then they drafted Dalton Knecht and now have a coach that actually has a system that is structured and everyone is bought in to

i don't understand how people don't see how much the lakers have changed. gabe vincent, dalton knecht, and most importantly jj reddick. they may have a lot of the same faces, but those three change the identity of the lakers. gabe gives a needed boost to the second unit, dalton adds spacing and will draw doubles when he touches the ball, and jj changed how the play offensively with all the offball actions, threes, switches on defense, and intensity. this is not the same team.
