Legal analyst Tre Lovell and journalist Robert Rand chat with ET’s Kevin Frazier about Erik and Lyle Menendez’s possible fate if a judge approves their resentencing for the killing of their parents in 1989. Lovell says that the brothers ‘still have a long way to go’ on their journey to freedom.

I find it weird that the prosecution found no one who agreed to testify that their father was a nice person, other than his secretary. None of the family members agreed to testify Jose was a good person. Yet, they were comfortable to dismiss the brothers' claim that they were worried about their own lives.

I feel like they'll be free. Times have changed and they've spent enough time in prison.

Glad the estate is insolvent. It was dirty money anyway, and I wouldn't want it.

a person suffers from battered woman syndrome. then in the eyes of the law they are victims but not murderers and what they committed is considered self-defense. All 6 expert psychologist world renowned who evaluated Menendez brothers they determined that Complex Post-Traumatic Disorder (C-PTSD) and Battered Woman Syndrome (BWS). People suffering from battered woman syndrome after yearsof sexual, physical and psychological violence have such a significant impact on their state of mind that they develop anxiety, a feeling of helplessness and a perception inability to escape the abusive relationship that they can preemptively attack their abusers even when resting, sleeping or to when resting, sleeping or to avoid a situation in which they cannot protect their lives adequately

Murdered 2 people with 15 shotgun blasts in close range to 2 unarmed people.

Should we let people like that be free?

I hope the judge set them They paid their dept to society. I say that they "over" paid for 15-20 years. They were failed by the justice system back then for political gain!!!

Eerie as hell, the brothers Eric and Lyle resemble so much to Alex and Michael Smith (Susan Smith sons).😥both groups of brothers come😢 from dysfunctional parents. And are now free at the same time as Susan Smith.🖤🖤🙏🖤🖤 Bittersweet
