As of 2020, Amex Everyday has updated their offerings: The 0% APR is now 15 months and there is no longer a balance transfer fee.

I used the Slate Last year to consolidate and pay off debt I had accrued on other cards. Once I paid it off, I called the 1-800 number on the card and product changed it to a Chase Freedom Unlimited.

I opened a Slate for the 0% transfer rate, then a month later, did a product change to the Freedom. It keeps the 15 month 0% but I can take advantage of the Freedom perks

Got approved recently for the citi simplicity with $4500 limit. Really happy with this limit as this will help me pay off this medical trip I am taking to Africa next month as well some other expenses. Thank you shifu for the video!!

Would of been nice to see what the average total or max amount these cards will transfer and at what credit score will i need for them each. And also maybe split say ten thousand into two or three cards keeping all at below thirty percent utilization and building more credit history and total with all of them.

I got me the Citi the reason I got it. Is because of the 21 months to pay it. 😀 That’s great. You can take your time paying it off

I opened up the citi simplicity card last sept bc it had the longest 0% apr period. It has worked well for me bc i can focus on agressively paying another card which has a high interest rate. Once im done with that, i should have enough time left of the 0% apr to pay off the citi card.

On the Bank of America Better Balance Rewards, you can actually earn very marginally on your transfers due to the $25 (or $30 with a BoA checking account) per quarter reward for doing the follow each month of the quarter (so opening the account with a due date in May would not count as there was no April due date): A) paying more than the minimum due B) paying the balance in full

Thanks for this. When you say transfer within 4months, does that mean closing the previous credit card account?
