This is why I like visual aids in language learning. Hearing a word spoken simultaneously with various images connected to the word can provide a better understanding than direct language to language translation

Some of the words and phrases we have recently covered in Jonah would be excellent candidates for this

I am a Christian minister, but when i was a Navy Chaplain two of my senior chaplains were Rabbis. Thank you for this information, i wish to one day be able to be so fluent that i read the Tanakh only in biblical Hebrew. This video and your wisdom gives me encouragement towards that goal. Somehow, I had realized this without watching this video! I told my friends and family. I wanted to learn Hebrew, and they just looked at me like I was weird.

Can I ask you a question about the servant of God in Isaiah?

The servant is called a light to the nations right?

And Jews consider that to be them right?

Why would the Jews be waiting for a redemption (to be saved from sin/evil) if they are the good example for humanity?

“the action of saving or being saved from sin, error, or evil”

And here is a verse in the KJV where the servant is called a light to gentile

Isaiah 49:6
And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth
