I'm kinda confused why they brought her weight up in this interview. I thought they were going to go more into depth about the song in general, as well as her relationship with her "father" (if we should even call him that) and her husband. I didn't like that the interviewer was pushing question after question without letting her completely finish. This song was obviously nostalgic for her, and I would have loved to hear her story, especially how she had been able to triumph over it all. 😒

I 100% relate to this song. I've not been married yet, but I had a similar story. My biological dad and my mom split when I was six. and he was never really in my life in a way that counted. 3 years before they split, I met the incredible man who helped me become the woman I am today, a man I call Pops. He married my mom when I was 8, and he was there for me in every possible way. He's not here with me anymore, but I thank him every single day for showing me what a real father is. I was so lucky to have had what time I had with him. I love and miss you so much, Pops, and wherever you are, know that I work really hard to make you proud every single day.

I just cannot get over how mean people are about weight in the first place. For many of us it's a struggle. We don't necessarily "let" ourselves get that way, want to be that way, or really care what others think, and truly, it's NO ONE'S BUSINESS BUT YOUR OWN! People need to understand that not everyone is going to remain skinny and its no one else's business.. I'm so proud of Kelly because she is not only my idol she is an idol to all the girls and boys out there who have been helped through their lived by listening to her music and seeing that what they are not alone in their pain. The moment I heard the song I fell in love with it and took the words to heart. My birth father has never been around and he abandoned me for drugs. And then my step-dad came into my life when I was 8 months old and took over that role. He became the man I needed in my life and still need today.

I love how genuine and sweet she is. It's so rare to find that in celebrities. You don't see the kardashians acting that humble. And honestly, all the haters who call her fat can go screw themselves, because she's freaking awesome.
