In my theater during Deadpool 3, when Wesley Snipes entered the audience went nuts, nerds and casual movie goers alike. Marvel is sitting on a goldmine in Blade if they just get their business straight.

This is so sad because Ali been done dirty by marvel for the second time. He was the perfect street villain in luke cage and got killed way to soon, only to be benched 5YEARS. The man is 50 now. Wesley deserves a stand alone send off movie. But even if they make one with wesley by the time it comes out wesley will be Near 70 year old. The blade character needs to be passed on this is the blackpanther debate all over again. We need a young guy that plays blade in the main universe. But at this rate will never see another blade trilogy. 😭😭😭

You know what would be really dope, if they brought back Wesley Snipes as Mahershala Ali’s Whistler character. So basically Wesley is the old guy in the chair (and you can still have him do some action scenes), but basically he’s there to teach Ali “how to” be a 1/2 vampire/human. I think that is a hell of a concept! 🙌🏾👏🏾

This was inevitable. It's sad because so many of us was looking forward to seeing it. But there has been so much drama circulating around this. And the times have changed so much I wonder how much of the original themes were changed and kept thru the different iterations. I had such a moment seeing him show up in Deadpool. Nostalgia in the best way.
If it's not going to be done right then let it ride.
