Weirdly enough my favorite part is their bow. As Bruce Lee once said, "Never take your eyes off your opponent, even when you bow."

I knew this would be the outcome of their fight and the continuation of the rivalries were inevitable because rivalries are always popular across various media. It's great to see Robby finally secure a major win, unlike the prom fight, which didn't feel significant despite being his victory.

I also knew this fight would be a callback to Season 1, especially with Miguel's ambition for the leadership role. The main difference now is that both fighters are at their prime, and Robby doesn't have an injured shoulder this time. A fun little detail I like to point out is Robby’s fighting style where he regained his focus and started parrying Miguel’s attacks at ease, highlighting this callback to Season 1 and how he could have won the AVT without the shoulder injury. This fight even proves it and that Miguel was fighting at his best while being honorable, only that his ambition reflected his motives compared to Robby’s which foreshadowed the inevitable outcome.

Just to put the debate to rest, I would like to say that Robby’s win doesn't make Miguel inferior. Their rivalry only shows that they are equals, much like Dante and Vergil in the Devil May Cry series. Miguel’s loss shouldn’t be seen in vain, it just serves as a reminder that even the best characters as well as the protagonists can go through such losses, reflecting the reality that many go through, and we’ve seen it all in various media. I also believe that Miguel’s loss will contribute to his character development in ST where he will shine. In a perfect rivalry story, both characters should be on par. If Miguel and Robby kept fighting, I believe they'd each win half the time, maintaining the value of their rivalry. Constant wins for either character would be repetitive and boring, undermining the purpose of both the protagonist and the rival.

Robby started to get the upper hand the moment Nichols showed up. Miguel was already dominating the fight.

Great fight, now that they’ve had four of them all be down to the wire, it’s clear how even they are. Also love the sportsmanship

I’ll make it simple. Robby is better than Miguel in point fights while in a street fights Miguel is better than Robby!! However, I hate to say this but I think Miguel’s lose in this fight is a set up to win the whole tournament.

Great video, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't be able to leave a download link without the watermark, it's just that it gets in the way of editing.

2:19 Of the points Robby scored on Miguel

This to me was the most impressive

He was able find an opening to strike Miguel in and did it with just a straightforward punch while maintaining a still stance

Another impressive thing about this point was the fact that Robby was able to avoid Miguel’s punch, as said punch landed right outside the shoulder and didn’t count as a hit

Now that is what I call balance!!

Robby wining is an even more powerful moment when you take in the fact that Robby’s first mentor, Daniel

Was the referee

I can tell Robby was proud to have Mr. LaRusso (as Robby calls him) raise his hand in victory and congratulate him

It’s almost like Daniel & Johnny were lowkey rooting for Miguel to win seeing as they didn’t seem very happy about Robby’s victory
