Work that's dictated by a fixed schedule, place and job description doesn't make sense anymore, says leadership expert Debbie Lovich. In light of the cultural shift towards remote work sparked by the pandemic, Lovich gives three essential tips to leaders so employees can keep their autonomy (while remaining productive), companies can let go of rigid bureaucracy and we can all reshape work to better fit our lives.

I just watched your video. The battle between leadership and employees is beginning to ramp up. As we start to exit the pandemic, more senior leaders are pushing to have people return to the office. It's a shame that even after record sales for some companies, the lack of trust is just not there.

I have identical twins brothers and they're like night and day. Everyone is different, but at work we're measured by the same stick.

I totally agree with everything being said :) the problem is a lot of senior leaders even with this positive experience still don’t trust, so talent moves to forward thinking companies now

I was a leader in a Fortune 10 company for 15 years. Leaders are afraid of change. They pretend to want diversity and inclusion yet how many have even done a public pay audit not many).

If companies want to thrive in the future they are going to have to stop leading by how much money they can make and lead by kindness.

Workers are not going to let these companies go back to treating them like crap.

Now is the time to start your transformation to Kindness Leadership.

We are no longer going to allow the hate, fear and greed to guide us. We no longer want command and control leadership.

all I'm going to say, since my last comment got deleted, is that working from home for me as someone that is pretty much at the bottom of the office hierarchy, is that it's been crap for me and that the only people pushing for it are the people who run the company. the same people that are saving loads of money by closing offices down, the same people who won't share that saved money with their employees.

SVP on remarque dernièrement qu'il y a un décalage entre la traduction et la parole. La traduction devance les paroles. C'est vraiment inconfortable ces dernières vidéos. Merci de vérifier pour les futures vidéos.
Merci

For starters, let's make wages adequate with productivity. If the vages kept up with increasing productivity since the 70s workers today would be paid $23 minimum wage.

Just obey the system, follow the ESG, the compliece, follow the orders from technocrats, and do not question. You will sell your soul, but will succeed.

I once told a manager, "Don't tell us how to do our job, because you have never done it. Just ask us what we need and give it to us, and we will make you look like a god."

People who have to work are offended. The word work implies physical exhaustion, getting dirty, and the possibility of injury or even death. You have a job. That's different than work. The English language desperately needs a new word to differentiate.
