John Byrne is a fucking real one and he had his little furry buddy's back when they had no one but each other. Definition of a real mate right there.

I'm amazed the CPR worked. Bunnies are so fragile, I have a bunny myself and she still gets scared by lettuce sometimes lmao

Mistreating a homeless person is bad, but ripping away someone’s pet is just sick.

"What are you in for?"
"Trying to kill a guy's rabbit"
"You sick freak"

How can someone be so heartless? Ripping away someone's pet when they have done nothing to you and literally killing the pet? This is rotten to the core.

"138 prior convictions at the age of 20"
What's bro trying to do? Be the first person with 1, 000 convictions?

I can't imagine how John felt when his close companion was taken like that and almost died in something so awful. I'm so happy the rabbit got revived.

You know a law system is broken when someone who did 138 crimes is on the loose still doing them

If there’s one thing we can learn from DOOM, it’s to not mess with other people’s pet rabbits.

As someone who owned a pet rabbit, this man deserves a longer sentence. Rabbits could LITERALLY DIE if they get scared. They easily can die from a heart attack from things like this, if not by drowning. They are prey animals, so they naturally know that they are low on the food chain and already have a rapid heart beat (140-180 bpm) due to how small they are.

A man who cares for a pet rabbit is a pure soul. You have to be a gentle and patient person to gain the trust of most rabbits.

The fact someone can do that to someone’s pet, a homeless mans pet no less, is a huge red flag. Plus his countless prior arrests. Gary needs a heavier sentence asap. Im glad this story had a happy ending.

Good thing John was able to save his pet rabbit because otherwise we would've had a real life *Doomslayer* on our hands

that homeless man has fuller heart than someone with money, home, and food

The fact he didn't even hesitate to jump off while risking his life is truly heartwarming

John Byrne is a legend, he risked his own life to save his pet rabbit and succeeded. People would probably just cry in guilt and do nothing but John, he risked his life. This man deserves a home.❤❤❤

That guy deserves years. You can’t just throw a man’s pet off a bridge it’s just plain evil

138 convictions? C'mon, just lock that guy away forever. Why do we tolerate people like this in our society?
