Yo Alex just wanted to thank you for your channel, I recently hit a 300 pound weighted pull-up total at 19. I’m only 2 years in and I couldn’t have done it without the information you provide. I’m excited to see what I’ll be capable of once I’m in my 20s, cheers.

I’m relatively new to heavier weighting <2 years. Had alot of people give me a hard time for training like this but it’s allowed me to go injury free (so far) and make steady gains. Now makes sense why it’s worked! Thanks!

I’ve been doing 2 sets of rdls a week and progressing great. That being said I’m also doing barbell rows and heavy (for me ) back extensions to fill in that extra space and I feel very healthy and strong.

As a recreational powerlifter who got injured with a 600 lbs deadlift, working my way back up to 600, this is essentially the way I have been trying to regain my strength

Was thinking about how I'd program my deadlifts and this video pops up in my feed in the perfect time. Thanks Alex. Been following your advice for 2 months and you never missed >:D

Man, this is what I needed to hear. I have short arms, so deadlift is hard on my lower back. This advice is gold

Would love to hear your thoughts on the best ways to program the other 7-8 main compound lifts! Great short

I haven’t done deadlifts in 4 months. Been doing RDLs on Monday and Good Mornings on Thursday. The SSB Goodmornjngs have been crazy good. Started at barely being able to do 135 for 5 now I’m at 210 for sets of 5

bro I do exactly this lol for a couple years now. I warm up then do only 1 top set of conventional then RDLs 2-3 sets for the volume to spare the low back.
Did 545x4 conventional then 415x12 RDL last week
When I got up to 605 conventional often I wasn’t even doing conventional just RDLs to spare low back while I worked on squats if that was the focus that particular week.

Maaaan !! This is how I've been doing it last 2 years. Top set of 5 followed by 2 sets of RDLs or GMs

It's been amazing

Alex what do you think of seated deadlifts ?

How do you progress this way? Add the same weight to each set?

Alex what do you think about single leg RDL's?

Any recommendations for rdl ? How much and how often

Hey Alex, for deadlifts would you recommend this style of ramping sets rather than one heavy set followed by back off sets?

My favourite way to do deadlifts, was to do a 3x per week full body, but do a secret 4th day following my last day of training for that week, where I only did deadlift, I'd either work up to a top set, or do sub max lifts at 70-85% of my max for sets of 3.
