I noticed that one morning for breakfast I decided to just make a whey protein powder with double the protein I use. 40 g of protein in the morning in a glass of is all I had time for. I wasn't hungry until 2:00 in the afternoon.

Fasting has helped me with appetite suppression

Thomas, I’ve followed your content for a while and enjoy your content. Nothing in my 49 years has helped me like tirzepatide. It’s such a game changer . Everything you preach about diet and exercise is spot on but I’ve been doing that for years . Working out, fasting, eating healthy, carnivore, keto. You name it. I truly believe peptides are the future. It’s all in the brain chemistry. Depressed people have chemicals in their brain that affect them. So do
Overweight and people with eating disorders. Willpower is not enough. It’s like telling a heroin addict to “just say no” .

I can attest to this; I have upped my protein and lowered my sugar intake. The immediate result I have seen, besides some weightloss, is MAJOR appetite suppression. After a breakfast of an omelet and a Greek yogurt and fruit bowl, I dont have the room for lunch and am barely ever hungry for dinner. I have to make myself eat dinner just so food doesn't spoil lol But higher protein definitely works!

My spouse ate white fish at lunch and salmon in the evening. He added collard green to the meal.
He lost 30 lbs in a month.
After that, he had hard time keeping weight level. He kept losing more and more every salmon meal.
I recommended he add rice to salmon meals. After that, he could keep the weight stable.
Proof that it works.
I found out that salmon brought down the high blood pressure fast.

Increasing protein by 30% could help reduce total calorie intake by 441 calories. Eat more protein instead of Ozempic. Got it.

Let’s just bring ephedra back. I never used it for weight loss but I don’t think I would’ve made it through college without it 😂 I was pissed that it got pulled from the market because people abused it (translation: it was a threat to the obesity pharmaceuticals so they pulled it).

What brand of Rauwolscine would you recommend and how to take daily?

After fooling around with fasting, high protein, and high fat diets i came to this same conclusion as Thomas. It's simple - honest to god. If i eat a high protein, with some (not a lot, 1-2 Tbls.) of fat for breakfast I will not be hungry for hours. And I eat less because I'm not craving carbs all day (which is what I used to do). I lost 20 lbs and have kept it off for over a year. I'm 5'2" and weigh 140, it works for me. If I eat wheat and/or sugar my body lets me know it doesn't want it!!! Like instant heartburn (yes, I take ACV every day)
It works if you work it.

Do The Research: Vitamin B1 reduces sugar cravings (do the research for Yourself!)
Have Mineral Test done using the Hair Test to find out if you have Mineral Deficiency (Do the Research, mineral deficiency can cause cravings) Do the research for Yourself!!!
Vitamin "D" helps with Cortisol levels (again Do The Research for Yourself!!!) High Cortisol causes Carbohydrate Cravings (again do the Research for Yourself!!!)
Do Your Own Research and ask your Health Care Person before you do Anything Especially if you are in Pharmaceutical Meds.

Interesting. Eating more protein has been a new goal for me. I don’t love it as much as veggies and carbs but definitely trying. Thoughts on BERBERINE? I hear that’s a Ozemoic alternative.

yes, we know that protein works for a long time. but it can't increase the amount of akkermansia muciniphila which seems to be the most important gut bacteria to fuel the l-cells which then produce more GLP-1. we have to feed that gut bacteria and beans does this job very well. and the benefit of beans is, that they also come with a very good amount of protein.
this is why i now try to combine beans - as the only source of carbs - with my other animal protein sources.
if you really want to get shredded as someone who is massively over weight, lean meat and beans might be the perfect combination to keep your gut happy and get shredded. on a low carb diet we cannot only focus on the carbohydrate insulin model because it is incomplete. we have to factor in the gut and GLP-1 keeps gluconeogenesis low and that contributes to low blood sugar and insulin low 24/7

Something is being overlooked in terms of Ozempic. I don’t know what it is but beyond appetite suppression, beyond slower gut motility, and beyond improved the response to insulin. When those things have been addressed with diet and exercise plus supplements it doesn’t do anything but the moment I tried Ozempic things started to change and improve instantly. I really wish I knew why so I could find other solutions instead of this extremely expensive medication.

I like the way you share info, but watch out on the information you put out... GLP-1 R agonist increase glp-1 concentration by 1000 fold. Nothing... and I mean nothing you eat can increase glp-1 anywhere close to this amount.

I eat like 85% protein on a low carb diet yet i don't lose weight and it does not suppress my appetite more than eating any other food, so i call that bogus. I don't increase weight though so that's good. When i eat carbs i increase my weight. I also do 2 meal a day no snacks i stay away from processed foods but i overeat so im sure its my procions but i can't suppress hunger. Plus i have IBS. I have had this diet for years now. I keep it since i know i don't gain more weight. So now i am trying to get in 10k steps to see if that helps.

Hello Thomas, I have a question I just turned 50 and was contemplating Ozempic/Wogovy. I appreciate your information about eating more protein up to 30%, but I have been on keto which in theory is more than 30% but am still struggling to lose weight. Is keto supposed to work even better then Ozempic? In theory? I must be doing something wrong.

I love ❤️ Dehydroberberine!!!
The regular Berberine didn’t work for me. I also do intermittent fasting, & work out.
