How I Lived 100% Off-Grid For 8 Months Straight (Unlimited Freedom!)

This is a simple video breakdown of how I've lived off-grid non-stop for the past eight months. Along with some inspiration & motivation to help get out there and doing this for yourself.

This lifestyle of true freedom was not easy to achieve. And took me several years to get right. And I'm still improving upon it. Because the rewards and befits are worth every it!

This true freedom I get to experience, from all the congestion of society. Freedom away and from any government if I chose. Freedom from the power grid. And freedom away from anyone else whenever I want! It's an amazing, and at times, very scary feeling!

Hello & welcome! I'm Daniel aka "Adventureman Dan." I've been living on the edge, from one adventure to another for the past nine years. Stating in Central California with my first GoPro, through SoCal, Baja, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Alaska and throughout the whole USA. But for the past five years on my sailboat "Adventureborne" I'm open to unlimited possibilities of where I can go, and what I can do!

you need to get rid of the cardboard packaging, or wrap it, to prevent infestation of insects. Seeing your stores, set off my alarm bells. Great video.

Dan, I'm 71 years old and I plan on living on my boat almost full time in the future. I'm following 20 different channels and yours is the most honest no BS there is, you're helping me so much. I'm looking forward to meeting you someday, somewhere..

It would be pretty easy to build a micro green growing space inside one of the storage areas. That could give you a substantial amount of nutrients for an extended amount of time.

This is basically a manual to a perfect thing you have created there. Wow! I wish I would have done the same. I wish you all the best in the world, keep doing that as long as possible. Thank you from Germany, Patrick

Great video and information Dan! I've proven to myself that I can not only live on a 10ft jon boat, but live happily and with a budget of less than $50 a month. Less than that really, especially if I fish more. Since proving to myself that I can live with so little and be happy in such a small boat, I know that when I get a sailboat I will be even happier. As long as she is solid, floats and sails, it'll be a dream come true. The rest of features I consider luxuries that I will gladly improve over time.

Also, if you're handy with electrical appliances, you could make a dehumidifier for the cabin that would collect water from the atmosphere at the same time. The compressor, condenser, and evaporator are pretty easily harvested from cheap old beer fridges or mini fridges.

Undoubtedly, the best mindset on the sailing lifestyle I’ve seen yet. 10% technical. 90% mental. Great video. Thank you.

This is something I want to do with my partner. Flying and sailing are things that always stood out to me, but cost and my partner agreeing have been the hurdle. Since he works completely remote but needs to be online 24/7 for his job, he doesn't feel it's really possible. Loved the video and congrats on what you've done.

I love this and my dream is to live 100% self-sufficient on a house boat. My dream is to just live on the water and travel around the world as much as I can. Your videos have really helped me push myself towards these goals and I hope you will keep uploading. Thank you.

The best thing is the initial investment pays off in the end. It's the old saying if you do it right the first time you don't need to worry about it later on.

Awesome video Dan!Excellent explanation on cost and portrayal of the lifestyle. A fine follow up to the “ having crew onboard “ episode, true realignment of expectation vs reality!
