THIS IS NOT A COMPARISON. YOU ARE JUST HOLDING THE IPAD PRO ALL THE TIME AND DIDNT SEE THE IPAD AIR. YOU SHOULD CHANGE YOUR CAPTION TO " WHY SHOULD YOU BUY AN IPAD PRO " SMH

I got my first tablet a couple of weeks ago, an Air 3. I absolutely love it. I brought it just for occasional use but I use it all the time. It’s replaced my phone for most things. I only wish it had duel stereo speakers like the Pro. It would be a lot nicer for Netflix.

Things that I would love for the magic keyboard is: 1 have something built in the case to protect the Apple Pencil. 2. For the keyboard to be able to flip without damaging the keyboard and able to have it fold flat on a surface and to also have it to be about to stand up a little from the surface while the keyboard it flipped. Yeah it may seem like a lot to ask for from Apple but I would love a case like that.

I have the 3rd gen Air. Ordered a new 12.9 inch Pro. Totally keeping my Air though without question.

I think you should compare 12.9 pro 2020 to 2019 12.9 pro

Why is it useful to have 5 microphones oppose to 2? Is it for our benefit or is it to ensure Alphonso ( software) will improve its “secretly recording” of a users environment... 🤔

Depending on your charging infrastructure, in your at-home setup(s) and your “going out” kit, there is some virtue to sticking to the Air’s Lighting connector.

Back when I got my iPad Pro, maybe 10 months ago, I was dreading the hassle of having to use a different connector to charge it, relative to the one I use to charge my phone and my previous iPad, but I actively wanted the much larger 12.9” Pro and I intended to use it at a fixed location, suspended on an arm next to my bed/couch. I had though about getting the previous model to get the old connector, but by the time I was able to reasonably afford a new tablet, the old model was very hard if not impossible to get. It turned out fine, I bought a differently coloured cable (red) to charge my iPad, but the lack of hassle has a bunch to do with my usage case. If you want to use the iPad as a portable device then it’s a somewhat different matter.

(I did end up missing having a portable device, after selling my old 9.7” Pro, so a couple of months ago I also went for an iPad Mini 5. That’s a very nice device, super portable, and can be easily charged by the same power bank/cable I use for my iPhone. All very convenient, and it’s a cheap yet powerful tablet. The bezels are truly gigantic, though!)

You know what would be cool for the iPad Pro so that everyone is pleased is to have a finger print sensor built in the display or have it at back or have it at the side as a button still keeping it clean and still pleasing persons that love the finger print than the face sensor. Like if you agree.

I’m getting a new iPad with the Smart Keyboard to replace the need of a laptop for school, I’m going to be using it for writing essays, occasional video editing, light photo editing, watching Netflix and YouTube and writing notes, I’m not sure whether I should get the iPad Pro or the iPad Air, the iPad Air seems like it’s perfect for me but I’m so tempted to get the pro because of the extra features it has like the new dual camera and the lidar sensor
