Introduced in 2018, electoral bonds became a major funding source for political parties in India. Among the beneficiaries, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stands out, receiving around 55%, or approximately Rs 6,565 crore. While BJP got the lion's share, regional parties benefited too through donations via electoral bonds.

BJP Govt is so strong that it may declare even the SC judgement as unconstitutional and pass a bill in parliament to that effect. They may even pass a bill in parliament that such policies should not be interfered by SC and Govt only can decide on this legalised
