EAS Scenario | SCP-973 Smokey | Alert Containment Breach

Emergency Alert System (EAS) scenario about SCP-973 (Smokey). The SCP foundation has identified an anomaly in the New Jersey area following an incident. This anomaly has been identified as SCP-973 and has appeared on a specific stretch of highway within the United States. PLEASE LISTEN CLOSELY.

It's strange how the alert would reveal so much non pertinent information. Realistically, the SCP foundation would tell people to avoid that stretch of highway, tell them what to avoid specifically, how to get away, and nothing else.

I think this one gave too much info to people and gave it in the wrong order. Why tell everyone that it’s Euclid, that the foundation tried to destroy the road, the story of bf, gf and their friend? Eas alerts should contain information about how to protect yourself/what to do, not the lore of the foundation.
P.S. The Foundation already blocks everyone from that road, why would they disclose their existence to save a few lives? That’s not their style

These videos are great! I do agree that this would be more compelling if it were structured more like a proper EAS, focused on what you need to do to survive rather than explaining the anomaly. I think it’d be much more immersive and creepier, imagine how it would feel to not know about the SCP foundation and be given bizarre instructions on how to avoid them in a serious and direct way. Your videos already do a good job of that, but would be even better without the context of what the threat is. If you want to keep that info in there, maybe structure it so the instructions come first, followed by a shortened description of the SCP? Just enough info for the public to know what to look out for. No matter what you do I’ll still continue watching. Keep up the good work!

I've got an idea on how to capture him, though it's a bit outlandish. First off, you need something tough, yet fast and nimble. A Bowler EXR-S rally truck would do the trick. Next, you need a driver who knows how to handle that truck AND has pursuit driving training, so an officer trained on the modified Ford Explorers used by some rural area police departments would work. Finally, if you're feeling a bit vindictive, stick a bullhorn on the truck.

Now, the procedure.
Step 1 - drive the truck fast enough down the highway to trigger SCP-973.
Step 2 - slow down just enough so that he can catch up. Once he's right on you, get over to the left and slam the brakes.
Step 3 - Smokey has two options here - run into the truck or evade the maneuver. If he runs into the truck he'll most likely total his car. If he evades, proceed to step 4.
Step 4 - Get behind him and start tailgating him.
Step 5 (optional) - Start yelling "Run, Fucker!" over and over on the bullhorn.
Step 6 - Pit him.

This might have a chance of working, or it might cause him to relocate. I think it's worth the risk, though. You might be able to pull him out of his car and take him into foundation custody after wrecking him.
