This movie was great, don't care what anyone else says, if you don't like the twist you can cry about it because it won't change. Plus I hate how it's a competition between this and Man of Steel, just enjoy it and shut the hell up!

Were you not paying attention to the movie?The reason being is by the people inflected by Extremis, it enhances their strength, speed, and the ability to control their body temperature(Not in the extremis comic). That is why his armors were getting easily destroyed.

What we got here was Tony Stark, the essence of his character beyond the suit and beyond RDJ. Like they said in the film, he's not the guy he used to be anymore, the life of a playboy is out the door like Tony in the books. He sees the future and he's preparing for what lies ahead. Tony Stark is Iron Man, there's no other way to say this when people say we didn't get enough Tony or not enough Iron Man. Neither side of him is more important than what he does as either.

You guys just don't understand that movies don't have to be deep serious versions of your heroes honestly i love it because it doesn't try to hard it genuinely is different and it is the first marvel film in the recent years to actually be comicbooky with out being flat out corny.

Tony Stark was acting as a human this time, Being affected becouse of what happend in New York, He was about to die and Pepper didn't answer the call {I don't really remember if she did, either way} He didn't act as a Super Hero, he is just a man with an Armor, he is not Thor or Hulk to handle that kind of situation, Unlike old Iron Man movies this time he was afraid, also it had more comedy than 1 and 2, For me this movie was the best Iron Man.

The Visual Effects were just an element that wasn't thought out carefully (appart from the suits party at the end). You can compare scenes from IM1, IM2 and The Avengers for example while Tony wears his suit. In IM3 if you watch closely it's like metal appears out of NOWHERE. In previous movies you could say "Hm ok it is possible for metal to fold or unfold that way" but in this movie it's like if metal was giving birth to more metal out of thin air. Also... I'm really getting annoyed with a lot of people saying that this movie sucked simply because of the Mandarin. Come on, you can't let that one thing cloud your judgment over everything else in the entire movie. Sure, we didn't the villain from comics, but Iron Man 3's story was more about Extremis than him. Heck even in the extremis comic that this is loosely based on, it didn't even had the Mandarin besides a small reference. Overall, this was a great movie.

I agree. But as you watch it I strongly suggest you ignore a lot of the plot. Visuals of the movie are pretty cool. You should look up online what is the best part (story wise) of the movie.Or I could tell you.

This was a great more adult and serious Iron man and just what I was hoping for after the avengers.
