Joe you mentioned that your experience of the recent M3 models puts you in a good place to review the new Touring - agreed! If memory serves correctly, I think you mentioned elsewhere that Audi have provided you with a long-ish loan of an RS6. I appreciate that strictly speaking these are different size categories of cars however, if BMW are holding firm on retail pricing, you can pick up a pretty new RS6 for very similar money with more weight, more power, more cylinders, more thirst... and a large glass sunroof! Whilst not directly comparable, once again you are ideally placed to provide your audience with a perspective on the two cars as dailies - perhaps you could touch on this if/ when you provide an update on the RS6? Cheers.

A very well shot, well edited imformative review on this car and my goodness that car had every single option. I dont think anyone needs to spec it anywhere near as high as 22k in options. Still its very cool to drive around in that very very highly speced press car.

Hi Joe been with you for a few years now. Just a flying comment.. I've ha tourings for the past 25 years because of the split tailgate. Brilliant 👏. The noise from the rear/exhaust, tyres, that you've brought up, could be that you've not had the pull out cover deployed. I've found over the many touring years it makes an audible difference.

Good point you made about the additional tyre and exhaust sound. I had noticed it but coming from a coupe I had nothing to compare it to.

Nice video Joe, but surprised you didn’t mention ALPINA in your intro of options for fast estate options? As you know, for years they have offered a route for anyone wanting a fast BMW wagon. I started following you back in the day when you tested ALPINA models, such a shame that arrangement with Sytner fell away. I’d love to see you compare the M3 Touring with the B3. Keep up the great work 👊

I got mine three weeks ago after seeing a few reviews but Joe’s is the most comprehensive. I have not done much with it yet except for a country drive the day it was delivered and i found the car really well sorted out. And yes, i feel bad that suddenly my 2018 C63 Estate aged.
