I know the results were amazing for these BMWs discussed, but I have to admit that prior to auction I had no idea why some of the estimates were so low.

And I’m no expert..Some (like the CsL and the 745i) were just comically low
Estimates.

I covered the Miami auction for SCM. It was clear some car prices were going to be shocking when at the start the Ferrari V12 engine glass table, with estimate of $30-60, 000, sold for $246, 000.
