Trying to diagnose if i have this.
Car is smoking but only when oil is at operating temp.
Can smell oil when it smokes.

Am guessing the oil thins when its hot so maybe the gap on the stem is quite small?
Other possibility is turbo seals.

Can valve stem seals be the problem for over fueling? My corsa B has a huge miss when I force it to start and wets the plugs with fuel

Amazing videos, learning tons from you. Question shouldn't you have used Valve Seal Fitting Protector Sleeves installing your new seals?
I'm about to tackle this job in the weeks to come.

Thank you for this video. My question is: I have blue smoke that I do not notice when starting in the morning, but after walking hard for a while and then slowing down, I notice blue smoke coming out and then it disappears. I also smell a strange smell coming from the exhaust, and there is an abnormal decrease in oil consumption. Do you think the reason is the valve gasket or other reasons

Great information but I have a
What happens if oil intrudes at the bottom of the valve stem seal where it sits on the valve guide? Are the valve stem seals also sealed inside or is it just on top?

Does worn valve stem seal cause positive pressure in the head cover? My toyota 2AZ-FE blows out a lot of air and oil droplets from the oil cap, when engine is running and oilcap is open.

My s2000 on start it doesn’t smoke up but after about a minute it starts to smoke heavy I got new seals but the machine shop put the exhaust seal on the intake side could this be the issue?

Just curious, if the valve stem go up and down in the valve seal, wouldn’t be easy for the seal to come off in place?

Just curious, I will be replacing my cars seals soon, since the valve stem moves up and down thru the seals, how do the seals stay in place? Also my car dont smoke a lot on the first start after sitting overnite, it only smokes ( bluish) when you idle it for 10 or so minutes while on park and then you rev it thats when the smoke come out . Also no smoke during the idling, only when you rev it the smoke come out? Do you think the seals are bad?
