Channel description
This channel is all about photo editing and the photography gear used to capture the images. I cover RAW image processing and help beginner photographers learn how to use their equipment to capture and edit the photo they see in their minds. The photo editing software used on this channel is On1 Photo Raw, Luminar and Nik Collection. I also use mobile editing apps on my iPad Pro using my apple pencil. The mobile photo editing apps I use are Affinity photo, ON1 Mobile and Pixelmator Photo.

I've had Luminar since it's original inception, and even back then Skylum was promising a great DAM. Then it became a browser. The good thing is that I discovered ON1 and its asset manager and now use NEO as a plug in for ON1. Great combination. I think Skylum has underestimated the frustration out there that a full featured DAM is important to their customers. Thanks for the update!

Could you elaborate on what you mean by capacity issues? Is the library only able to handle a certain amount of images, and if so, what is that threshold?

I use Luminar Neo as a Standalone for my photography. Some of the tools offered I will probably not use as I am not a big fan of using someone's presets or altering an image so it looks nothing like the original image. Having said that, there's some good stuff that will come in handy in my development. Your vid. was well explained, thank you.

Ok im a littke confused: ive downloaded the trial version and after playing a little with it ive decided to buy it. On the right of the catalog there's a big "upgrade" button, and i tought that it was the one to upgrade from the trial version to the full one. But when i go to buy it, I read upgrade pass 2024/2025 and now im confused. Can i buy this or do I have to buy the full version first and Then add the price of this? It is not clear AT ALL and i was at a step from clicking pay it XD i wouldn't like to spend double the money, can you help?

Upgraded to new version but now ai sky's no longer work, luminar say I need to upgrade my PC should have stated minimum specifications required before buying

Well, it looks like you just saved me $139! I was getting ready to buy it, but I had NO idea that basic things like stacking and stitching are subscription only!!!
Stitching for example... I may only need it once or twice a year, so I am NOT paying a subscription for that... In no way is this a 'perpetual' license if all your plugins are subscription only!!!
