God as Trinity | "Echad" & God’s Plural Pronouns Explained
What does the Bible really mean when it says, “The Lord is one” in Deuteronomy 6:4? And why does God sometimes refer to Himself in the plural—saying “Let us make man in our image”?
In this introductory video on the Trinity, we explore the rich Hebrew meaning of the word “Echad”, how it differs from “Yachid”, and what this reveals about God’s nature in the Old Testament.
From Genesis to Isaiah, we uncover the biblical evidence for God's complex unity, showing how the use of plural pronouns for God aligns with the doctrine of the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
🔎 In this video, you’ll learn:
What “Echad” means in Hebrew and why it matters
How “Echad” differs from “Yachid”
Where God uses plural language about Himself in the Bible
Why understanding these terms is key to grasping the Trinitarian nature of God

Gen. 1:26-27 is not a conversation between the different Persons of the Trinity (why would the Infinitely Omniscient God communicate within Himself using finite language, the communicative medium of finite creatures)? Gen.1:26-27 is God communicating with the finite creatures of His Divine Council (Job.38:4-7) whom God also made in His image. Only God made humans in His own image but not only humans bear the image of God.

The fact that God IS Tri-Personal does not exclude God’s use of a Divine Council, not of necessity but exclusively because of God’s Personal [Tri-Personal?] preference?!

Amazing how the incomplete task of the Nicene Council of defining the exact nature of this god that men created so long ago has never been fully resolved, even after many retaliatory excommunications, anathemas, and even executions among the bishops 1700 years ago. Basically we can continue as we always have, defining this imaginary god entity any way we like, or even not at all.

What about option ‘C’ -That there is ONE Infinite and Tri-Personal Divine Creator [YHWH] Who has also created REAL finite ‘gods’ [elohim] in addition to Himself (following the Deut.32 worldview (Ps.82:6-7; 89:5-8) of the late Dr. Michael S. Heiser)?

Deut.32:8 should say “When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when He divided all mankind; When He set up boundaries for the people according to the sons of God [NOT the sons of Israel who did not exist at the time of the tower of Babel (Gen.11)] i.e. the elohim He created and assigned from His Divine Council to ‘administer’ the nations following their [the nations’] divorce from YHWH after the tower of Babel, whilst YHWH focused on creating the nation of Israel (from Gen.12 onwards) as the vehicle of world redemption through whom the Messiah/Christ would eventually come in the fulness of time?!

That’s incorrect. The Hebrew word Echad is numerically 1. Achad is unity. People attempt to use the scripture that says the people are Echad as proof of unity. However the people were literally 1 group. As they were not scattered abroad yet. Right after the flood. There was echad group of people at that time with echad language.

The Jews weren’t always Unitarians. They also once believed that the One God Existed as more than One Person (See: The Two Powers in Heaven by Alan Segal. Segal does not believe in the Tri-Personal Nature of the One God but he truthfully and accurately documents the theological history of Judaism. Apparently, belief in the Two Powers was proscribed by the rabbis during the second century because it sailed ‘too close’ to Christian Trinitarian theology?)

Islam on the other hand, having been created to diametrically oppose Biblical theology, has never been anything but strictly Unitarian.

If there is a Trinity, then answer this. In the Trinity, first person Father, second person son and third person Holy Ghost. Which one was the father to Jesus Christ?

Mark 12:28-34
Jesus answered, “The most important is, v‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, wthe Lord is one.
And the scribe said to him, “You are right, Teacher. You have truly said that he is one, and there is no other besides him.
Jesus said OUR God, meaning Jesus has a God.
How many persons do see one person or triune godheads?
The echad is 1 alone, indivisible. not compound or 3 in 1. When it come to God echad is number one.
Please tell in mark the above verse God is one person or 3 persons?
Isaish 45:5
I am the LORD, and there is no one else, there is no God beside me:
Is God one person or 3 persons?
I Islam Allah use we, us. That does not mean more than one 😂
