Consumption (much)higher then in USA Jetta, why this donkeys from VW don't optimise other vehicles as those Jetta for low consumption

Same fuelconsumption as my 21 year old mitsubishi carisma 1.8 gdi with 125hp, although at 150 my car uses around 5, 5L. So older and way more fuel efficient. xD

Not even in Germany itself the VW Polo can surpass the Opel Corsa. These TSI engines will be the disgrace of the VW group until total worldwide automotive electrification.
