I read an story about a man who ran off with his mistress because he no longer wanted the responsibility of raising his kids. He refused to pay child support and spend all his money on an new house and new car and new boat for his mistress. He told the judge he couldn't pay child support because it impeded his life style - the judge ordered him to pay or go to jail.

The political situation of women here in the Philippines is much worse. There are clearly people here especially from older generations who think that the women's power is limited to the bedroom and it's ok to flirt with a woman who you just met on the street
