Is there any information about AVB support on PC? Motu doesn't officially support direct AVB ethernet to PC for example

On ARM-based Macs?

So it looks like I am having to bite the bullet and switch to avid hardware. Can anyone help me decide on the best, easiest cheapest way of getting at least 48 I/O. I have 2 x 16 channel ferrorfish pulse 16 converters already. both have ADAT and MADI. this setup is to be used with an audient asp 8024HE 36 channel console. I have been researching for days but could do with some experienced opinions.

Thanks

Meh. I'm happy with my MOTU 828ES. Cost half the price of an Apogee Ensemble, shares the same converters as the Ensemble, long term driver support like RME, rock soild drivers, innovative matrix routing in the AVB web app eliminating the need of a patch bay and messy cable's.

You will get much more milage by spending the same amount on a single mic. Buttons, don't make you sound good. Expensive mics do.
