This is great news! Any idea if it's the Elevate 5 sensor that got FDA approval and therefore any new watch with that sensor should also get the app?

ECG comes with a big drawback. It activates permanent 2FA authentication on your account. Once ECG is activated, you can't disable the 2FA feature. Starting from there, 3rd party tools are not usable anymore. So, if you don't use 3rd party tools, that's OK but if you do, not sure activating ECG is a good idea.

After updating my Venu 3 watch to the latest firmware, I had to uninstall / reinstall the android Garmin connect app for the ECG to show up on the android phone.

Will it come to epix 2 models? Because they have the same sensor as the venu2+ . And the epix 2 also has a metal ring on top so it should be able to.

Just got Venu 3. Can't figure out how to set up ECG. When I follow instructions that says to click on my watch in the connect app and then go to finish set up, I should get an option to set up ECG. But nothing there. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

If I buy one of these devices in Europe, I presume it will have the hardware/software for the ECG included? I'll be in the US soon so think I can enable this functionality when I am there. I presume this is correct? Thanks for your help.

In Garmin connect I didn't see an option to setup ECG, now I have no idea how to trigger that. I'm not sure how to retrigger that
