so trying to decide, for someone that cuts lots of 2 7/8" tubing and occasionally 1" square tubing, is it better to get the compact or the deep cut?

Got the opporunity to use one of these when i was working at largo on the convention center project. I Was cuting bundles of all threads with a grinder until safety started getting anal about hot work permits and safety precautions. Foreman handed me one of these. Liked how longer the battery lasted on this than on the grinder. plus no need for a face shield or an apprentice standing buy with an extinguisher. After 3 grinder incidents to the crotch i used the bandsaw for everything i could get away with. I liked it so much i bought one myself and never looked back

Hay Milwaukee team

I like your machine very much I like to work with it have real power and are very random / lie very well in the hand and the price / performance is also right

Tip 1 you still have very old tools in the catalog I would take them out or new and better built in a new set with new batteries

Tip 2 the new batteries are good, but too long. With some tools, the battery first has to be a little longer

Tip 3 new tools with new batteries fight back well the tools still come with the 5.0 on the market

The 5.5 costs more but you can charge it faster with the charger. What is still on the German market is important to me that you can charge many batteries with a charger

2x 5.5 batteries need 70 minutes to charge with the new charger

1x 5.0 takes 60 minutes

So you can almost fully charge 2 batteries at the same time

If the battery only lasts 20 minutes of continuous use, you are happy if the battery takes 35 minutes instead of 60 minutes

Tip 4 the new charger is too big how should 1x chargers 2x new batteries 1x machine fit in a case unless the case gets bigger I wouldn't like that / I would make a pure 18v charger without 12v here I would make a 12v adapter the 18v is plugged in if you have to charge a 12v but I think everyone who has a 12v tool has a charger for it and that would work without any problems

Tip 5 the one key app is very good wish me more tools with it e.g. for angle grinder or a 1 to step advice for the rotation that makes the tool more versatile e.g. for stainless steel

So 2 5.5 rechargeable batteries with 1x tool and the new charger in a suitcase are awesome

(The new charger is called super charger)

(5.5 batteries are called 6.0 on the US market)

I wish Milwaukee will produce 16", 18" and 20" reciprocating saw blades. I want one of each for my Milwaukee Super Sawzall to cut down trees instead of use my Husqvarna 460 Ranch chainsaw.

So much for cutting threaded rod and rolling for a nice cut. Id never buy the safety switch version that's silly. Saw is heavy as is now let's limit it for "safety"

Looks like the same one they've had for a while. What's new? I can't see any reason for the ad in 2019.

Don't think I'm going to be a fan of the dual trigger 🤷

Garbage I don’t think it’s weight is well distributed for one handed applications

Dual triggers are for morons who shouldn't be using a man's tool in the first place. I've one handed a portaband and caught my off cut for 25 years now and never once cut my self.
