I own a plumbing biz. My dad was a plumber. I’ve used Milwaukee, Makita, Ridgid and many others. Back in the late nineties early 200o’s I switched to Milwaukee. They were made and assembled in the US. Always cost 20 bucks more than DeWalt. Now that everything is “assembled in the USA of Global parts” I buy 100% DeWalt. I just retired a DeWalt right angle Timberwolf joist drill. Still works. Bought it in ‘98. Never broke down. Never had to have any parts replaced. Still works like a champ. When I hire apprentices, I tell them if you want Milwaukee tools I will pay for half of them. If you buy DeWalt I Will buy them for you. Never had issues with DeWalt. I can’t even tell you you how many 3 5/8 and 4 5/8 self feed bits, not hole saw bits I’ve drilled with that Timberwolf. I just bought a few DeWalt cordless stud and joist 60V right angle, quick release chuck drills. They are badass. Fuck Milwaukee.
